Stamps

Stamps are the core of Passport. Each stamp represents a verified interaction — visiting a booth, completing a challenge, or engaging with a project in the Stellar ecosystem.

How to collect stamps

QR code scanning

The primary way to collect stamps is by scanning QR codes:

  1. A company or booth displays a Passport QR code
  2. You scan it with your phone camera or the in-app scanner
  3. The stamp is instantly added to your passport

Each QR code is unique to that company. You’ll earn one stamp per company — scanning the same company’s QR code again won’t create a duplicate.

Challenge completion

Some stamps are earned by completing challenges during events. These are awarded automatically when you fulfill the challenge requirements. See Challenges for details.

Stamp details

Each stamp shows:

  • Company name — The project or organization that issued the stamp
  • Stamp artwork — A unique design representing that company
  • Points — How many points the stamp is worth
  • Category — The type of project (DeFi, Infrastructure, Wallet, etc.)
  • Date collected — When you earned it

Viewing your stamps

Your full stamp collection lives on the Passport page. Stamps are organized by event and can also be viewed in your overall collection across all events.

Event stamps vs. general stamps

  • Event stamps are tied to a specific event (e.g., Meridian 2026). They count toward event-specific challenges and leaderboards.
  • General stamps are earned outside of events by visiting builder profile pages. They still count toward your overall rank.

Points per stamp

Different stamps award different point values. Typically:

  • Standard booth stamps: 10 points
  • Challenge completion stamps: varies by challenge (usually 15–50 points)

Point values are set by event organizers and can vary between events.
